I kept going back to his myspace and reading his friends' comments. So sad. :( I had to force myself to stop though, it was like torture. I'm not saying his name in this post because a billion people have searched his name and ended up at my blog I just found out.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I just want to put a new post now...
I found a room to rent. w00t. I gotta figure out when to move in December and get people to recruit. Moving is a pain in the ass. Although I don't have all that much stuff here, I want to try to put more in storage. I'll be closer to school and it looks like a nice neighborhood. I'll have to go to the laundromat, but I've done that before, no big deal. Just gotta find a good one. A bunch came up around there when I searched online.

I'm doing homework as usual, but I got my one research/poster board presentation thing over with, so that's good :) This coming week is the last week of the quarter and finals are the week after. I really gotta catch up to finish everything on time. Sigh. My teacher is giving us Wed. off though, since we are a day ahead of her other class, so that is awesome. I took the day off from the clerical job too. All homework! wooooo

I hope you are all doing good :)

I found out about this 19-year-old kid last night in whoners' room. He'd allegedly committed suicide live (online). Everything seemed very real, but there's always that wonder if it's a hoax. Well, I've read from a few sites that his death was confirmed by a medical examiner. You can read about him here, and this article has an interesting thing about another man who lived in the UK.

From what I read, this kid had tried to OD before, but failed. Everything I read was just sad. He needed help and was not getting the help he needed. The whole thing is just completely awful.

Hey I'm Alive

Just thought I should check in. Of course you can see my Twitter updates on here to stalk me, but I guess I should post.

Well, life has been busy and crazy. I broke up with Jason a couple weeks ago. Still living here until I find a place (looking online right now actually). We're talking okay and all that. I was pretty emotional for a few days, but doing better.

I'm really behind in school, it's terrible. I got my poster board/research thing over with, but next week is the last week of school and finals are the week after. I still have to do a research paper for my environmental racism class!! I'll just focus on that class only this weekend though, that'll be good.

I was up til 5 this morning cuz of the poster board thing. Slept under 2 hours and lasted until 7:30pm when I passed out on the couch. But then I got up ad midnight, and now it's after 2. Although I am getting sleepy again, that's good. I'm in whoners' room on blogTV since I haven't been able to feed my addiction on there lately :( But Rani isn't in there :(

I just want the quarter to be over and to be moved so I can focus on studying for the CSET in December! The test that "dude" tells me not to worry about hah.

Obama FTMFW!!!!!!!!

I did not vote for Obama, but I am still glad he won. I voted for Nader because he is liberal, whereas Obama is moderate. I felt safe with my Nader vote because our state always goes blue. Had I lived in a red state, I would've voted Obama. It felt like there was something in the air tonight. It felt better to breathe, easier to smile, like a toxic weight had been lifted from our country.

-------------------------------------------------------

This feeling is somewhat canceled out by Prop 8 heading to a majority yes vote. I was already pretty sure it'd pass, but I really did not want it to. When I voted no on it today at the polls, I actually got goosebumps. I hoped there were enough decent human beings living in our state that it wouldn't pass, but it seems there are not. They are still counting some of the votes, but it is looking dismal. They even showed that LA County had more yeses than nos. This is before they were done counting, but that actually surprised me. It surprised the news anchor too. It is so sad that people want to push their conservative beliefs on to others who are just trying to get by in life. These people just want to live and be happy like the rest of us. One No on 8 supporter said on the news that this will be a step back and that people are making him feel like a second-class citizen.

People worried that they'd have to teach this stuff in schools, but the prop had NOTHING to do with education. I hope those commercials didn't help persuade anyone into voting yes. And so what if it is taught in schools? Teaching tolerance to our children, so they can treat others as equals? Is that wrong? I'm all fucking for that. This teaches kids hate, these other humans are not considered equal.

If your religion prevents you from seeing gays as equals, just choose to not be friends with them. You don't need to hurt their lives. Life is precious, it is theirs. They are being held down by these people living in the dark ages. I am sickened by those who voted yes. It deeply hurts me.

Vote!

Vote!!!!!!

My opinion of Prop 8... 12seconds vid I posted (you can embed now w00t w00t). Regardless of how you want to vote, just vote, please.

Be Sure to Vote!! on 12seconds.tv
